First Lutheran and the Medical Mall

An update on where we stand.   On Sunday March 7th, the congregation voted to change our asking price for the parking lots on 3rd avenue from $450,000 to $750,000.  This proposal was taken to St Luke’s on Monday the 8th.  We heard late last week that our offer was not accepted.  Last night the city council voted to permanently close 2nd Avenue between 10th and 12th Streets to allow for the construction of the medical mall.  We will keep you posted when we have additional information. Please continue to pray that PCI, St. Luke's, Mercy, and FLC all continue to partner together for maximizing the health of our community.
